@spendius,
End England's cricket hopes of regaining the ashes is Ponting's next target. The all conquering rejuvenated Aussie eleven will show them how the game ought to be played.

"Played like a violin". Very descriptive term for when some one has strong influence over another.

Another day has gone by. Why can't somebody think up something new?

New scandals are almost a daily occurance. This week it was Bernard Madoff pleading guilty to the greatest fraud in history.

@Dutchy,
History may be great for avoiding the repetition of mistakes. I never managed to enjoy it unless it was filmed in glorious technicolour.

@spikepipsqueak,
Technicolour yawn is an expression when someone vomits. This usually happens after the intake of an excessive amount of alcohol.

@Dutchy,
Alcohol is the greatest invention of the human race. A great philosopher, who's name I can't recall, said that it was the invention from which all other inventions stem because sobriety is witless, unimaginative and boring.

@spendius,
Boring men is not what women want these days. They much rather prefer one who is charming, a caring listener, witty and one who is an imaginable, romantic lover.

Lover boys say things like that. Whether they can deliver is another matter entirely.

Entirely honest is probably a trait that many women value, although tact has its uses. Charming can correlate with, manipulative, slimy and insincere, sometimes.

Sometimes love ain't enough. And there's a danger in loving somebody too much, and it's sad when you know it's your heart they can't touch.

@Dutchy,
Touch is one of the five universally recognized senses. If you're a tactile person, it's an extremely important one.

Queen, reputed to be a good film and a good woman. You probably couldn't help being somewhat cold and distant, given her job and upbringing.

Upbringing is very important. A good proportion of the ladies I have know were very good at it.

It's proving quite difficult, getting our gov't to reconsider a desalination plant in our area. Desalination sucks.

Sucks is a vivid slang term for oral sex. Many people are still offended by the use of that word.

On with the game as they say. Looking forward to the coming Cricket Test Series in England, who will be the winners?

Winners get the spoils. Losers, evidently, get the leftovers.
