Veteran members are the hardest ones to convince when new change comes about let alone if it's the implementation of new technology.

Technology has nothing to do with mind openness. Young members are difficult to convince that two phrases are better in this game.

Game is usually played with one intention (to win), the same goes for every argument and discussion human kind subject themselves to.

Again, I don't play this game to win. Rather to participate, out of boredness.

Boredness again? Francis, you must find something useful to do, to stave off that boredom.

Boredom is a sign of intelligence. Both the utterly stupid and the highly enlightened never get bored.

'Bored' is what teenagers say they are when they behave badly. Does it mean they are intelligent?

Intelligent teenagers often listen to heavy metal music to cope with the pressures associated with being talented. Far from being a sign of delinquency and poor academic ability, many adolescent "metalheads" are extremely bright and often use the music to help them deal with the stresses and strains of being gifted social outsiders.

Outsiders are the hope of the society, as most people are drones, just getting and spending, getting and spending all their lives. And we are increasingly watched.

Watched TV shows in Britain and around the world give credence to the maxim that no-one ever lost money underestimating the intelligence (or taste (McT)) of the general public. The quality of most mass-market television is dire.

Dire Straits did the music for Local Hero. It's still one of my favourite films.

Films no longer hold my interest. Today's movies are all about unbelievable science-fiction, sex and violence.

Hello there, Mr Nice from Indonesia.

This thread is a word game; see post #1 and you will understand.
There are other threads for discussing films.

Violence can occur at any time, apparently, in this troubled world. Misunderstandings frequently occur, and when alcohol is a factor, it can all kick off, as they say nowadays.

Nowadays nothing but money counts, a fortune brings honors and friendships. The poor man everywhere lies low.

Low expectations make people happier. They are more often met.
