Delicacy of love reminds me of my first kiss. I felt the ultimate bliss, and wanted to last the ecstasy forever.

Now I must strike whilst the iron is hot. Contemplating asking the young lady for a date. Laughing

Date of birth is always asked for on forms. I'm less and less happy to give mine, especially the year!

Year of the rat is 2008. This is a good year to begin a new job, get married, launch a product or make a fresh start.

Start as you mean to go on is a sort of proverb, but I have always had trouble with it. I start things enthusiastically, meaning to go on in the same vein, but end up less than eager.

Eager to me means showing keen interest, and an intense desire to complete a task. Sadly, often during the process, I get side tracked and lose sight of my objective.

Objective views are hard to find - we are all tainted with subjectivity in most instances. However, Francis Bacon had interesting ideas about objectivity, I seem to remember.

Remember when a keyboard belonged on a piano and a virus was something you went to the doctor about. A drive was something you did with your parents on Sunday and a chip was something you put salt on before consuming.

Consuming too much medicine is not good. Let's go jogging every early morning instead.

Instead of the artificial exercise of jogging, can't we do something more natural? For example, walking is a really good form of exercise.

Exercise your brain, it will keep your mind sharp. Now...what were we talking about?

About getting the body fit. A stiff morning walk will do the trick.

Trick or treat is an activity I dislike. Thanks goodness we won't have it now for another eleven months.

Months of the year have special meanings, e.g. January is Janus's month. Janus being the Roman God of gates and doorways, depicted with 2 faces looking in opposite directions.

Directions originally written in Chinese and then badly translated can be confusing to the point of incomprehension. Why can't they employ some of the many literate native speakers?

Speaker's Corner in London's Hyde Park is one of the best places to let off steam in London . It is one of the most famous locations symbolizing democratic rights in the world.

World music is a euphemism for Third World music. Beethoven and the Beatles don't count.

Count to ten when you want to scream and shout. Do this also when you start to lose your cool, remember you're nobody's fool.

Fool is a word that ultimately derives from follis, an inflated bladder. It also denotes a type of yummy fruit smoothie, and is specially nice made of gooseberries.
