They, we, us, are all plural pronouns. That means they indicate a non-specific grouping of more than one.

Everything is not lost. I will meet you whenever you say (within reason in the next two and a half weeks, but not this week-end as I will be climbing Mt. Snowdon in Wales).

Course will be directly up Mt. Snowdon. I already have a walking companion for this trip, but if you like to walk, just let me know, as I WILL be back.

Satisfaction guaranteed; unless you get tired of talking, cooking, listening to music and playing backgammon. Do you find any of those activities offensive in a traveling companion?

Backgammon is for old dears isn't it? Rolling Eyes

I'll show you a few interesting games though.

Have you ever played in a mountain cottage?

Cottage, Garderner, that's where I will be. Playing backgammon and preparing tea.

Companion, I thought that was something you had when you got elderly and went on coach trips. Aren't we taking acid then?

Use whichever feels most comfortable to you. People can usually be fairly evenly divided into those who feel most comfortable learning through visual, aural (listening) or kinesthetic (touching) methods, although some prefer a combination of those.

Those were the days we often read about. I'd like to think today is better than the past.

Past experience would show that life is a terminal illness. However, we live as if it weren't.
