Behind every famous man there is a strong woman. Or something like that.
Behind every successful man there is a woman they say. I don't know who "they" are mind you.
You are rule breaking spendius ; why?
That was a happy coincidence which provides a little more evidence for the proposition that great minds think alike. I enjoy being pipped by Clary.
Why anything? I don't know.
Clary is happy to be in conversation with you, so that's fine then. Are you a Mancunian?
Mancunian is not a word which applies to my person. I come from haunts of coot and fern.
Fern abounds in Devon, but coot less so. Coot and hern is what Tennyson had in his locality, pointing I suppose to East Anglia if I remember my Arthur Ransome correctly.
Correctly applying discipline is a very difficult art. One needs to have a scientifically valid objective before perfection can be reached and those who can achieve that carry the marks of it in their general demenour.

Tern, isn't it? Still, misquotations R me.
Carry on.
I wasn't quoting. I knew it was hern. There was a lot of ferns where I grew up and a lot of coots but very few herns. I would have been telling an untruth had I used herns.
Had I said I come from haunts of boots and burns it would have been more accurate that coot and hern.
I've slipped between a few ridges and I've babbled on a fair number of pebbles with many a foaming flake mind you.
Demenour is a misspelling for demeanour. Just as hern is, I gather, a misspelling for heron.
Heron Island is a coral cay located near the Tropic of Capricorn in the southern Great Barrier Reef, 72 km north-east of Gladstone, Queensland, Australia, and 539 km north of the state capital Brisbane. The island is situated on the leeward (western) side of Heron Reef, a fringing platform reef of significant biodiversity, supporting around 900 of the 1500 fish species and 72% of the coral species found on the Great Barrier Reef.
Reef diving is something I have never done. I heard there were stinging jellyfish and biting sharks in such places so I passed on that aspect of boredom relief.
Relief pitcher is a baseball term. It refers to a player who enters the game after the starting pitcher is removed.
Removed from "heron" was the letter o, to form the surname Hern, Herne, etc. It is believed to have referenced a clan of mighty "horse warriors" or professional soldiers who traveled from land to land in service to their king.
King Dhamazedi adorned the Schwedagon Pagoda with a great bell said to weigh 180,000 viss (648,000 lb) of bronze. This was removed in 1608 by the Portuguese adventurer, Phillippe de Brito, so that he might cast the bronze into cannons.
Cannons are when the cue ball collides with another ball or balls after it has hit the object ball. It's a scoring shot at billiards but is risky at snooker as the player has difficulty in controlling the balls.
Balls of wool are often supposed to entertain cats. I don't care about this because as far as I'm concerned the only good cat is a dead cat.
