Achieving an A2K Personal Milestone

Im afraid I don't know what a "rage ignore" is, dunno, maybe I do and just call it something else. I have a feeling I shouldn't ask, but here goes, who is this Q you folks are mentioning?

A member told me recently thru PM that he had been kicked out for a week, Im still not sure why that happened. I thought his postings were interesting, yes he can get riled up, but so do a lot of folks, I didn't know it was possible to get a time out.

I missed a lot because I spent a week in the hospital trying to get my sodium and potassium levels back to an acceptable range. My doc is taking more blood on Thursday which will hopefully determine what type of specialist I will need to see. This last hospitalization is the third since December 2013, its a royal pain in the butt and Im hoping to find out what causes it, so I can avoid taking anymore $500 ambulance trips. I think for that much money they should transport me in a limo.

I also cracked the screen of my Ipad and the charger needs to be replaced. Wish me luck at the freaking Verizon store. Im determined not to engage in another "I see you still have Comcast as your internet provider, we can save you (the sun the moon and stars) if you sign up with our triple Fios plan" If you don't have an hour to kill, don't get sucked in to that discussion unless you actually want the plan.

Its also time to update my phone, Im putting that on hold until I regain my strength and can resist the urge to throttle a poor sales person who is just trying to do their job.

I am surprised that anyone was temporarily banned as the tolerance of the moderators now stands. I was once banned for a couple of days because Sturgis lied and reported me for calling him a bad name. That was long ago, and the only thing for which a person cold get banned these days, as far as i know (other than spam) is making a death threat.

My son plays video games online and when an opponent gets really mad, sometimes he "rage quits" - leaves the game in a fit of anger. I co-opted the term for someone who in a spike of rage goes to the ignore button.

As for who Q is, perhaps you are better off not knowing.

Q is the buy who makes all those nifty gizmos for James Bond.

I remember Q from the films, I was going to ask but it would have made my comment too long. Q was often stole the scene from Bond, James Bond.

You know, of course (i assume), that Q as it's used here is a reference to a really annoying new member. He's a troll, and attention whore, and people keep feeding him. He'll stick around as long as there's a payoff for him.

The only time I recall going at you was after I had been through an extremely rough patch medically and you instructed me to 'hurry up and die'.

However, on February 23, 2011 you sent a p.m. to me instructing me 'Don't fuckin' talk to me, asshole.'
(I received the above after accidentally referring to him as 'Sport'. It apparently offended him to the point that he wanted me to die...quickly!) Gee, he refers to people as Boss and several unflattering names but call him Sport just once and all hell broke lose.
Sure I may have then forwarded that rather harmless glop to a moderator, however, I don't recall doing so (and am rather sure I didn't).

There were only 2 persons who I have ever directly reported and in 1 case it was because the insolent twit was spreading untrue rumors which were calling my character into question. Rumors which if some well meaning person read them, would find justification for me being arrested and sent off to the guillotine. Again, they were rumors...out and out lies, and not made by the likes of you.

At one point I liked you Sport, then I saw the real you. A bullying sack of nothingness.

So, bring forth if you will this name calling you did of me, because I don't frankly recall that happening.

As indicated in the past, there are 2 people here who I tend to ignore.
Setanta who as far as I'm concerned is The Dead Man, (because essentially to me he is dead) and there is one other (the one who decided to start p.m.-ing out and out lies about me and desecrating my character). The only place to respond to either, is I am mentioned directly or in the case of The Dead Man, when he makes a thread and I post before realizing the error of my ways.


So go on believing that I got you banned TDM, if it makes you orgasm wildly then live it up.

You're a liar again. I never told you to "hurry up and die." (I just did a search for that phrase and my screen name, and there was no result--there was only a post when you made that allegation.) You've always displayed an irrational antipathy toward me--i don't know why and i don't care. I started a thread, and you responded to it in your typical sneering and hostile manner. So i responded with "Kiss my ass clown." Now, i did not put a comma between ass and clown, so you ran off and reported me for calling you an "ass clown"--whatever the hell that is supposed to mean. I know that because i corresponded with the moderator who had responded to your complaint. I know of no rational reason for your obsessive antipathy toward me, and i don't care.

I sent you that personal message because i had just recieved a PM from you which read, in its entirety: "Snob!" I have no idea what pathological condition had lead you to send me that message, and i don't care. However, i don't want my PM mail box cluttered with your psychotic messages, so that is why i sent you that PM. It was in respond to the message you had sent me. In another thread, i saw you refer to me as "Dead Man," for whatever obsessive, psychotic reason you think you have--but i don't care what that may be.

I consider you a compulsive liar and an at least borderline psychotic.

By the way, you say you have me on ignore, and that i am dead to you. Yet, four minutes after if made my post, according to the time stamps of both posts, you show up with a long rambling example of your compulsive, psychotic penchant for making wild and false allegations.

By the way, even if that were true, it does not alter that i got banned because he reported me for calling him an "ass clown." I still don't know what the hell that is supposed mean. So he was lying about what he reported me for, and why i was banned.

Sturgis has been so consistently vicious to me that i wouldn't regret it if i had said that to him.

So indeed i did--and in the context, i don't regret it at all.

That doesn't change that i was not banned for that post, but for a post in which Sturgis willfully lied about what i had said. If you wish to despise me for that, help yourself.

In a thread about the ignore button, you would think that people would be a little more decent to each other. Maybe the problem is that the ignore button isn't used enough.

If I remember correctly, the only times anyone has told me I was being put on ignore was in threads about feminism. But, you know how feminists are.

I think it's hilarious that Sturgis claims he has me on ignore, and that i am dead to him, but that he shows up to respond to my post in under five minutes. That's some special ignore he's got going on there.

I'm not familiar with Q, but mox nix. We have many trolls, but I'm happy for Engineer's recent accomplishment. Moments like that are to be celebrated. I would like to say on more thing, God help me I know it won't be well received, but I really hope I never told anyone I hoped they would die. I'm also pretty sure I would be very remorseful if I did. I wouldn't think of it as a proud moment of ideal behaviour.

That being said, I have said many harsh things to some A2K members. I have received PM's from a few disturbed posters that are supposed to frighten me, incredibly vulgar and very base comments. I can't honestly say they don't concern me, but for cowards, an anonymous forum gives them the courage to say things they would never be able to say to another.

It's a forum folks, defeat the stupid with smart, don't expload just because you can. I actually read the post Imur listed, I've never heard of anyone being called an Uncircumcised Philistine, OMG is that the craziest moniker you've ever read???? I wish my Dad was still alive, he would have loved it. We would all be calling each other UP's including me and all the rest of the family females.

Again, props to Engineer, I hope I'm on some people's ignore list, they probably are on mine.

I don't say and haven't said i'm proud of having said that. I have said and continue to say that i don't regret saying that. The nutbag Sturgis claimed that was what i had gotten banned for. It's not, and he knew it. I was banned for a few days late in 2003 or early in 2004, after Sturgis reported my post, and lied, saying i had called him a name. That post linked by Lmur, which was a response to Sturgis' hatefulness, was from more than seven years after the incident in which i was banned. I've been the target of Sturgis' vicious vituperations for more than a decade now. I lost any sense of empathy for him many, many years ago. In consideration of this decade of vile remarks to and about me from Sturgis, i don't feel the least remorse.
