@ossobuco,
Jeez, I shut off my casually watch of the Lions-Falcons game ... frankly 'cause it looked boring and was headed to a blowout. I looked back at the NFL news an hour ago only to read that the Lions had eked out a 1-point victory.

Pats- Bears game looked at half-time an even a bigger blowout. Hard to want to ever pick those Bears again. What the hell is wrong with Cutler?

Him and Andy Dalton have cost me a lot of picks.

It's a sad day in football land today. Hopefully (not that I picked them) the Saints pull one out against the Packers. Green and Gold are everywhere in NOLA today. They're all looking for a win, of course. The locals are looking for a miracle.

@edgarblythe,
Remember the days when NFL played defense? Those days are coming to an end. Global warming strikes again.

By my tally AndyD is 12-1 and is picking New Orleans. Osso, JPB and Johnboy are 11-2 and have Green Bay.
We all have Dallas.
And JPB is in New Orleans? Again?

The Cardinals' game was amazing. John Brown, the rookie WR from Pittsburg State (Kansas) caught a long TD pass with about 1:20 left in the game, and the Cards' D kept the Eagles out of the end-zone as time ran out! Awesome, awesome game to watch in person. The stadium was electric! Could not have been scripted any better!

@realjohnboy,
Yes, we're in New Orleans rooting for the Saints even though I didn't pick them. I'll gladly give up a win in our game if they can pull out a win tonight. It's a game so far.

I couldn't see last night's game. It had to be a good one. Redskins take out Romo and win the game too.

@edgarblythe,
Frankly, I thought those pesky Washington Diplomats outplayed Dull-ass Boys from the start. They came out from the start like they're on a mission.

That was a hell of a game.
Talk about an underdog rising to the moment!

The 'Skins were missing all kinds of starters and were led by a third-string Texas fella playing in front of his mom and pop.

No sir. I don't mind losing that pick.

Up to date standings after Week #8. Winner for week 8 was AndyD with 13 wins. He bettered everyone else by at least 2 wins. Good week Andy. I will get the next games up around lunch time today.

By the way, the BEST ESPN expert would be in 3rd place. The WORST would join Edgar and Pancho at the bottom.
