I just tested this service against my Yahoo e-mail account and by just checking the setting box in Yahoo that says "Block HTML graphics in email messages from being downloaded" the functionality of the tracking service is defeated.

lol Well, you will but they won't be very pretty. Wink

I don't propose that turning off HTML for all email be done to defeat this sort of thing but it demonstrates that the technology is easy enough to defeat.

If you have a firewall (and if you have WinXP you do..) you can block HTML links to their domain and the functionality is gone.
