...and now, my final contribution to this great thread >

Here's CHALLENGE #30, and I hope you keep the game alive:

I'm looking for a 9-letter English word (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) which matches the following

Clues:
The letters 9, 6, 7, 4 & 1 (in that order) spell types of SANDSTONE.
The letters 3, 5, 8 & 2 (in that order) spell a type of SEED.

Notes:
The correct word (and ALL sub-clue words) are found in Webster's Dictionary - 10th Edition.

Happy sleuthing, and GOODBYE MY FRIENDS

I think I got it. (If cone is a seed) The word for sandstone is also edible, Mac.

My friends, I'm disappointed - you've let this thread die while I've been away. Sad

Mac and Raggedy: I think the least you could do is create a "welcome back" Challenge 31 for me!

Welcome back, Bib. Thanks for the offer, but I just don't have the vocabulary expertise, the computer capability or the time, inasmuch as I have another thread in progress, to handle this game. Perhaps Macsm11 or Zyzzygogue (who expressed an interest in an earlier post) would be willing to revive the game, or Idea why don't you reactivate it? Very Happy

Tempting...but I always thought it was customary for the host to look after the guest. Cool

I'm still only the guest around here. I don't have as much time on my hands to keep on top of great games like this one. Crying or Very sad
