As many will demonstrate in this thread...
I love the fact that Cheney is still saying that by fighting in Iraq, we won't have to face terrorism here in the U.S.
Even leaving aside for the moment the wisdom of what we're doing in Iraq--in other words, even if this were a good idea--how does fighting there protect us from terrorists here? Is every terrorist on Iraqi soil now? Have there been no terrorist events since the war started?
Explain, please. Thanks.
Real translation of a recent broadcast from Al Queda: "Now that America has weakened itself by sending too many troops to our holy land, it is the time to strike. I urge all who believe in Allah to collect your Canadian passports and bring terror and hellfire to the evil ones once again! Once we decimate America with our smart bombs, we will command all hot dog vendors to serve shwarma and falafel instead! Hot dogs are decadent, they resemble a penis."
Haw haw, so you like the langue de chat, then monsieur cjhsa...
D'artagnan:
Yeah, you wonder if Cheney just didn't get the memo, or if he's dumber than dirt?
infowarrior: Cheney, I suspect more than the rest of that sorry crew, hasn't had to think creatively for quite some time. His mind is made up; don't confuse him with the facts.
