In what specific area of pursuit

Recently I have entertained the notion of an electronic switch in the form of a disk one might insert in a socket eg accommodating a bulb so with application of power it toggles the light on or off

Thus with alternate flips of the switch to "on" position it remains off. Used to effect control of two appliances you don't always want on at the same time, without requiring you to rewire the house, for instance where a single switch controls lamps in separate rooms

Presently a gadget called the "clapper" is used for this purpose though don't believe it comes in the convenient disk form I propose; and anyhow it might not work at the desired distance

I 'm going to New York tomorrow.
I plan to go to Las Vegas for a week.
