@JLNobody,

Wow, what a thread. I too sometimes think we are all props, but for what I do not know.

Don't take it too seriously. Blatham spins a bunch of BS in order to fabricate the illusion that he is an intellectual. Most everything else in this thread ultimately derives from that malarkey.

Are more Americans becoming convinced now about the scientific argument behind global warming and climate change?

@McTag,
Opinions vary. I believe most of the evidence in public attitudes towards specific (and mostly authoritarian)proposals suggests than most of us are quite skeptical of the supposed remedies some politicians wish to impose on us. Meanwhile many people adopt various sustainablily measures in their lifestyles, and our carbon production/unit of GDP remains well below that of Canada and many other neighbors & countries throughout the world.

Good day, mates and people in some other category.

Jane and I will be in New York this week, available for socializing (non-euphemistic definition here) Wed, Thur, and Fri evenings as of 7 pm. I've notified Frank and will do so with Jonathan as soon as someone refreshes my memory re his handle. Also letting Thomas know who had better show up or I'll chase him down the street and hurt him behind the turned backs of New York city's finest (that's a depressing four word phrase).

Anyone else going to be kicking about? I have almost no standards remaining so I'd welcome the arrival of anyone except a particularly disagreeable male from Albuqurque.

@blatham,
Spectacular picture, Bernie. Please tell her how impressed I was with it. Unless you have posted it without her permission, that is.

@Frank Apisa,
Stunning, isn't it. She's just below the artic circle. Normally, she works in the summer there, then travels. But this year, as one previously, she decided to winter over. She loves it up there. I'm not terribly objective here but I think it might be in the running for best selfie ever.
