In the lower left-hand corner of every page is a rubric "Quick Links." The first two headings are "Ask a Question" (which is how you started this thread) and "Start a Discussion." Those are the two means of starting a thread.

My first thought.

I just looked on the home page, and i see that "Ask a Question" and "Start a Discussion" are two options there, too. On any other page look in the lower left-hand corner for those options.

I think there was something wrong because I could ask a question but when I went to start a thread - there was nowhere to write, so I thought I might have to wait to be approved by mods and they will let me post. But days went by and I had decided to ask a question. Thanks to all.
BTW I will probably be back to ask how to post in certain forum.

Also can someone give me a rundown on this forum? Are people really tough on each other or kind and understanding...that sort of things. Appreciate it
