No Accountability For War Funds?

squinney was telling me in the car that she heard or read that the White House has refused to give the GAO any documentation on how the billions of dollars that Congress has given them for George Griswalds Iraqi Vacation is disbursed. she went on to say that when the original funds were granted, there was supposed to be a through accounting every 4 months but that happened once and now the White House merely ignores the requests, not even acknowledging them.

True? False? Grain of truth? What's the deal informed and educated A2Kers?

Ya know, when I was in the service, I used to wonder what would happen if push came to shove, and somebody had to set off a Pershing missile. Probably some poor Spec 4 has to sign a statement of charges.
