When I worked in Indonesia I recall our guys spoke something called Sundanese. And they had trouble in several areas out from our main digs. The Phillipines was easier since everyone had a working knowledge of Spanish.
You doing wellfield work? I noted that they were beginning thir own "Fracking" programs except they use seawater.

OH YEH, youre gonna have to learn to dicker FOR EVERYTHING. The rule was that you never pay more than 1/2 the asked price. Good dickerers get down to 30% , but I didn't have patience and besides, I hadda fill out expense sheets for everybody .
