Kerry on Israel???

Kerry, if elected, will be the second Catholic and first (to my knowledge) of Jewish heritage. Does anyone know his view on the Israeli/Palestinian issue?
I have not heard his plan as yet.

Here's a link re Kerry's request to meet with Sharon when he was here earlier this month and gives a somewhat ambiguous view of Kerry's views on Israel/Palestine.

But then Kerry's views on just about everything are somewhat ambiguous. It is going to be hard to pin down exactly where he stands on most issues.

Kerry ambiguous- get out of town. This guy is an amoeba. You can't pin this guy down on anything. Not trying to be partisan but this does seem to be how he conducts himself.

LOL bosworth. I haven't properly greeted you yet, so hello. Smile

I think Kerry is more than an amoeba and, unless Bush can get things turned around in Iraq, he could very well be the next president. Then again, if the Bush-policy fed booming economy continues, that could be enough to put Bush over the top too.

I agree however, that Kerry lost all credibility with me when he takes all sides of virtually ever issue and appears to have no conviction about anything.

My feeling is that if Bush loses th election it will be of his own doing. Kerry lacks the charisma and "vision-thing" that Clinton had. Furthermore, there is no Ross Perot. If Kerry wins, fair play to him, and I will support him as the Commander-in-Chief.
However, I will do my civic duty to bash him on his policies when I disagree. I don't see Kerry doing anything drastically different than Bush on Israel. My take is that he will be generally Pro-Israel but I'm still waiting to hear his views.

I haven't been on the boards for a while but if Wilso can do his thing then so can you. McGentrix, I took Latin for four years but it took me forever to figure out your quote. The golden rule, right?

Kerry is very hawkish on Israel.

On a Sunday Morning talk show last week he strongly supported the targeted killings and gave the one-sided view that we expect from Bush.

On this very moment Kerry lost my vote. I don't see how any progressive thinker can vote for him.
