In which late 19th century opera do sausages play an important part in the proceedings?

@Lordyaswas,
Hollywood needs to make a 3D ... NO! 4D version of that! Everyone would flock to see it in IMAX. Shocked

Bangers and Mash: The IMAX Experience! Starring Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry!

@fresco,
This was a 20th century opera (1920) The Question says late 19th century. The closest I can get is the Gilbert and Sullivan opera The Grand Duke 1896 which involves sausage rolls.

@sophocles,
Try "The Gypsy Barron" (Johann Strauss II) 1885
Quote:
....Zsupán arrives and tells everyone that he is a highly successful pig-breeder adding that he lives for sausages and wine and has little time for art...
