I need help to come up with some outdoor activities for a bunch of 1st graders at the park. Any suggestions? Thanks,
Water balloon toss! (is this for the summer)?
Smear the queer always brought fond memories...but then again, I was always the queer.
I assume you are talking about legal activities....
I was always fond of 'fingerpaint the executive' as a kid. Those suits are expensive, and hard to clean.
Wow, thanks for the quick responces! This will be for my son's 1st grade class school field trip to the park (so I guess I'll have to NIX the archery, sorry). All the 4, 5 and 6 graders are taking some big tests so all the K, 1, 2 and 3rd grades are leaving for a while. Most to the local park. My wife is very involved helping the teacher, and she was asked to help come up with ideas. One activity last year was to line up all the kids in a long line and have them pass a blown up swimming pool float (to lay on) through their legs. WOW, THAT SOUNDS FUN! However, I guess it worked to pass some time, and the kids enjoyed. Keep the ideas coming if you think of more. Thanks!
You could play the super-sleuth game. Have the kids sit around in a circle, take one out and then another. The first kid becomes the sleuth and the second is the killer, then they rejoin the group. The killer then winks at who he wants to die and that person winks back, then dies. The sleuth has to guess who the killer is. Or, for a more child oriented theme, the magical...genie, or something...
Kickball, frisbee toss, blind man's bluff ....
