Alternate History

The Reps must have been crazy to field McCain against Obama for the Presidency, he's a nice guy and war hero but I think he was 10 years too old for the strenuous job and the American people must have thought so too, so Obama had victory handed to him on a plate.
I honestly half-expected Mac to collapse onstage during the televised debates.
If he'd become Pres it'd have gone something like this-
AIDE- "Wake up Mr President, the Russians are coming across the Bering Strait!"
McCAIN- "zzzzzz...Huh? What? Where's the Bering Strait? Alright, scramble our Curtiss Jenny squadrons and order Custer to gallop north!"
