It stands for "Not Safe For Work", meaning that you might be looking at a thread which might cause discomfort if someone from work were to look over your shoulder while you were reading it. Smile

It's internetese for "Not Safe For Work," meaning the content may contain vulgar language, sexual content, etc... that might not be appropriate to have on ones workoffice computer screen.
