The question was asked. I answered it. When a question is asked that is left open to multiple interpretation, what makes you the sheriff of A2K town, to tell me what interpretation is right or wrong.

I have retired from practice; I will not be sending u a bill.
I find it very hard to believe that u really dont know
what an on-line profile is; he appears not to be an American
and he seems to get the idea of what a website profile is.

U seem to have tried to make a joke out of it, at his expense,
making the poor fellow look foolish (tho he did u no harm).

Of course I know what an on-line profile is, but how does that have any bearing on the way I chose to interpret the question?

Does it state on-line? No.

If 'he' seems to get the idea what a website profile is, as you once again assume, tell me where that information appears on this thread. You could very well be derailing a legitimate photographic or artistic painting question for all you, me or anyone else here knows at this moment in time, given the available information.

And once again, you assume, quite rudely based on the available facts, that I am making a joke out of this.

Tell me Omsig, when you were representing someone in court, did you rely on the same sweeping assumptions as you do here? Or on the available evidence, as the vast majority of Lawyers would do?

Like I said before....evidence, please. Assumptions and excitedly jumping to conclusions don't count. You should know that, what with the basic Lawyering you went through, and all.

And you've noticed me doing this thing before is not evidence. Well, it is evidence that you had already formed an opinion of me before you came on here to accuse me of something. Would that count as a prejudicial view, perchance?

I would suggest that you look at this thread once again, and provide evidence to clearly demonstrate how I have been wrong, or rude.

Yet another example of community-building activity. There have been 100s or thousands of sarcastic comments built off such open-ended, non-descriptive questions. The fact that the person isn't clear enough and doesn't indicate a profile of what application or service indicates lack of forethought, perhaps? though it's not a crime against humanity, Lordy felt the need to inject some poking fun.

If you find no humor or entertainment value in the reply, why don't you either answer their question, refer them to a resource, or just avoid the topic? you had a choice. Why belabor the OP with more diversion just to single out Lordy? This sort of sarcastic commentary is done daily dozens of times on A2K and in case you hadn't noticed it over the years, such humorous/sarcastic relies are an A2k 'sport' of sorts.

Poking fun at a newcomer to the site
and to a newcomer to the English language.
Its like poking fun at a cripple on crutches trying to get along the street.

If he chose me or u toward whom to poke fun,

You have made some assumptions that are pure speculations. None are based on any facts. OP may just have made typos, was in a hurry, and may simply using a device that doesn't allow much editing. Who knows what the reason. Why should you assume enfeeblement?

I find nothing improper or rude in Lordy's actions. He was not singling OP (others doing the same on A2K often) as he and others often poke fun of silly vague questions. Your championing and defense of 'handicapped' is misplaced.

OTOH, your own affectation of inventing your own spelling is off-putting and can easily distract someone who is looking for help who hasn't mastered the English language.

Glad to see Butrflynet has been awarded merit for answering the question by the OP.
