Jesus said the body is worthless and that only the soul is important. (John 6:63)
If the person has "locked on" to Jesus during their lifetime, their soul automatically homes in on him through the 'Jesus Stargate' like a guided missile.
But an unlocked soul flies off into oblivion-
"Ungodly men, wandering stars for whom the blackness of darkness is reserved forever" (Jude 1:4-19)
(in modern military parlance a missile that loses its lock and veers off after launch is said to have "gone stupid")

Sure, 'blackness' doesn't sound like the stereotype image of fiery hell, but it'd be hell all the same, floating as a disembodied spirit in the void forever.
In fact it might be worse than the picture above, because if a soul has no eyes or ears , it'll be in totally blind sensory deprivation and terrible loneliness and the pic should really be just a black square.
But let's look on the bright side, only Jesus-rejecting nonchristians have anything to worry about.. Wink

Guys please stop. I HAVE DEVOTED MY LIFE TO THIS, AND IM ABOUT READY TO GIVE UP AND KILL MYSELF, SO PLEASE JUST GIVE ME AN ANSWER THAT YOU KNOW ACTUALLY WORKS!

In other words like I said, if somebody has locked onto Jesus and connected with him during their lives, they've made the vital mindmeld that death can't break, and their souls absorb into him after death-
"On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you" (John 14:20)

but those who haven't mindmelded with him are like lost travellers in the void-

Centurion- "We have lost our lock on the Jesus Beacon!"
Commander- "Then I fear we shall not see the stars of home again.."

There is no "answer that actually works". The place you are talking about does not exist. There is no possible way to arrive at this (or any other) nonexistent place.

I was merely pointing out that Jesus qualified all that with, "You are "my friends" (only) if you do what I command." John 15:14.

If you must do what he commands in order to be his friend...perhaps you are more his servant than his friend!
