When the body dies, the soul flies!
Jesus said the body is worthless and that only the soul is important. (John 6:63)
If the person has "locked on" to Jesus during their lifetime, their soul automatically homes in on him through the 'Jesus Stargate' like a guided missile.
But an unlocked soul flies off into oblivion-
"Ungodly men, wandering stars for whom the blackness of darkness is reserved forever" (Jude 1:4-19)
(in modern military parlance a missile that loses its lock and veers off after launch is said to have "gone stupid")
Sure, 'blackness' doesn't sound like the stereotype image of fiery hell, but it'd be hell all the same, floating as a disembodied spirit in the void forever.
In fact it might be worse than the picture above, because if a soul has no eyes or ears , it'll be in totally blind sensory deprivation and terrible loneliness and the pic should really be just a black square.
But let's look on the bright side, only Jesus-rejecting nonchristians have anything to worry about..
