Hello, everyone. I want to share a problem with you. Thanks for your suggestion in advance.
I graduated from college in 2013.06, then I started to be an OL in the office. I had to say I made a lot of mistakes during the start, my leader is a woman, who is a little bad tempered.I had to say I am a tragedy at the beginning, always be scolded by my manager. I shared my feelings with one of my department colleagues, I told her I really hate my job now. I thought she is a person I can trust, but unluckily, tomorrow every body knew that I do not like the job. Of course, my leader is very very angry.
Another thing is about work, my leader asked me to do something which would need many departments to cooperate with. the result of the work is awful, I admit I do not consider many things in detail because of lacking experience. I had responsibility about the failure of the work, but in fact, other departments made their own mistakes. They told boss, it is me that is the key factor which lead to the failure of the work. why they pushed all responsibility on me and think they are innocent?
I am very disappointed with my current job, I guess I will leave soon.
@Eliza6826,
Good idea. Next job, don't gossip with anyone at all. No matter how much you trust them. It almost sounds like this one carried a little more responsibility than you were ready for.
@jespah,
That would be the politically correct version of OC, then.
@Eliza6826,
You tend to mix your personal and professional life bro.... take care.
I once had the same problems at work.
In hindsight I see that it was due to my immaturity and self-absorption.
Don't despair; you'll get the hang of working in a team environment.
Or you won't.
@panzade,
Thanks, I guess it is a good try for me to know what kind of job I am looking for.In the next job, I will be more careful to find a job. But I think college life is really a wonderful time for us, after graduation, you face the pressure of finding a good job, finding a good spause or having a apartment. My parents told me that's life. okay, I had to adjust to this kind of life.
I've had a number of women bosses at different jobs over the years and have never got on with any of them because they were petty-minded control-freak airheads who couldn't run a lemonade stand let alone a company department, so i was GLAD to resign and walk out..
Lesson learned. Don't gossip at work.
@Bella Dea,
absolutely, also do not trust colleagues who you are not very familiar with.
@Eliza6826,
To paraphrase Michael Corleone:
Keep your friends close...but your enemies closer.
