Does it mean "despite her obviously lacking respect with her explanative words"?

@Joe Nation,
It's in the book:

Deconstruct - now there's a word I wish would just fade away. I hear it ALL the time.

One woman wanted a "deconstructed" salad from the carryout the other day.

That did it for me.

@oristarA,
Basically she reduced his career so far, to just one word, "passenger." He found that snide, but she had a point in that it helped him find a career he loved.

@Joe Nation,
thank you very much Joe. I was tempted to join your childhood house thread but decided against it because it involved registering with google earth and I'm not much of a registerer. Hope all's well with you.

@izzythepush,
All's semi-well. We are freezing here in New York when we are not being blown across street corners into the paths of turning taxis. (Local news, sorry)

I was disappointed more people didn't get with the House thread, but I understand that looking back for many is a complicated, sometimes painful, operation OR they are like you, too lazy. Very Happy

@Joe Nation,
I think you're right about me, not just lazy though, confused as well. Wet here, rain rain rain and more rain. Lots of flooding, I'm OK though I live in quite a hilly part of town.
