some twenty years old. it takes place in bessarabia. begining scenes: a local noble is engaged to a young girl. nearly after the engagement the turks attack the place of the girl family and the girl is raped. when the young noble comes for his bride her father hands him the family sward to kill the girl, because she is not virgin. but the young noble loves the girl and marry her anyway.
