Iron Man 2

I am excited about this release. The first one was pretty damn good and I hope they can come through with the second one as well as the did on the first one.

The whole Super Hero thing is become a big thing in the last 10 years. So many movies made, and so many more in the planning and production stages.

Right now Fox/Warner Brothers is in the mix of trying for a Hawkman movie.

Definitely going to see the return.

Some of my most enjoyable moments at the movies have involved the Super Hero genre. But some have been less than noteworthy, too. I hope they do as well as they did with the first one.

Well it definitely beat the first one. It was a blockbuster movie.

I don't know about the money they earned, but judging by what I perceive as the quality of the story and how much I enjoyed it, the first one was much better than the second one.

I definitely have to concur with you there Rosborne. The first was much better then the sequel. Still, I'm hopeful that the third film next year will be enjoyable. ((fingers crossed))

After seeing what happened to Ridley Scott's _Prometheus_ I have become very cynical about Hollywood's ability to do anything right. Clearly they can get sequels right every now and then, I think Avengers was better than most of the other Marvel movies, and I think the latest Spiderman was better than the first one.

But I think Hollywood does much better with new ideas than it does with sequels to blockbusters. I think the need to produce a marketable sequel to a blockbuster supersedes the desire to produce an actual engaging story.
