Welcome Felix Noir, and all the other newbies.

A personal observation on cats; Cats take vermin control seriously.
Living in farm country, I value their inclination is such regard. A number of cats reside here at Timberland, but dwell in the outbuildings. Few have names, all have jobs, and the population appears to be self-supporting. I view them sort of as "Independent Contractors".

Welcome, Felix Noir. I love what you've done with your fur .

Yes, the fur has that nice sheen. Tell me, Felix, did you have Diane change the color of your soft pillow from orange - Halloween - to burnt umber - Thanksgiving - to red - Christmas?
If not, it's something to think about this year!!

Welcome Felix and your charge, Diane!!

Welcome, Felix. You didn't have my favorite cat quote among your selection.

"Dogs have owners. Cats have staff."

Felix has asked me to thank all of you for your warm welcome.

Merry Andrew, as you can see, I am Felix Noir's staff.

Timber, Felix actually shuddrered when I read your post to him. He is a good mouser and brings me his prize specimens, but he is a civilized, cultured kitty, never a barn cat, and has favorite napping places throughout the house which are appropriate for each mood.

God I hope I beat him at balderdash!

Hey, You guys hear about that faline that traveled over 3000 miles, and finally got returned to it's owner? She was found in Canada, and air freighted home, after some folks in a small town saw the tag on the faline's neck, and called the telephone number of the owner. Now, that's a story! Wink c.i.

It sure is. 3000 miles is a long travel for a little kitty.

Introducing Myself
I am an "animal fanatic", owned by cats. I love to read, take long walks and fan of trivia. Trying to get up the nerve to dive in here.

Argh. Cat lovers. I knew there was something strange about this place. I only like cats that kill rats and squirrels. Have you ever seen a cat kill a squirrel? Me neither. Wink
