Hi Shirley - go to the who's online button - look for Phoenix, Jespah or fishin'. Click on their name - look for the pm button underneath - send them a private message (pm) - letting them know what you need assistance with. I think Phoenix is online right now.

p.s. Welcome!

Hi all, haven't been on this thread for way too long. Rae, you don't know anything about late until you've met me!

Warm welcomes to Wayfarer, Charli, chun chun, Uncas and Redheat.

This is by far the best site I've ever been on, with civil discussions on a boggling array of topics. I know you'll enjoy being here.

Hello, my name is Felix Noir. I am a black cat.
My philosophy is "Live and let live, at least
nine times."

My human is Diane. She is well trained, has
a soft lap and admires me most admirably. I'll
keep her.

My main interest here on a2k is the game balderdash, which I played on abuzz, sometimes getting more points than my human--much to her chagrin!

Diane describes me as 'portly' and spoiled.
I assure you that I am large-boned and certainly
not spoiled; naturally, I have all that a feline worth
his name should have, although my human needs
on occasional reminder when I need a lap or a
softer blanket.

I am black with chocolate highlights which show
up in sunlight like an espresso. My whiskers are
long and exquisitely sensitive and I have large,
golden eyes. My tail is fine indeed, lending me
a jaunty, yet dignified air.

I love to be held, but I have an unfortunate
habit of drooling when I'm held and petted.
Diane doesn't mind, she calls it my happy
drool.

All together, I am a fine specimen of feline
manhood; speaking of which, I am missing my
balls. I can't seem to remember what they were
for, but....who cares?

Diane found the following quotes which she
finds amusing and true. I hope you like them.
BTW--My signature quote by Leonardo Da Vinci originated during my first or second life. Leo, of course, was speaking of me.

"I love cats because I enjoy my home; and
little by little, they become its visible soul.
"--Jean Cocteau

"The smallest feline is a masterpiece."
--Leonardo Da Vinci

"Like a graceful vase, a cat, even when
motionless, seems to flow."

"There's no need for a piece of sculpture in a
home that has a cat."--Wesley Bates

"Dogs come when they're called; cats take a message
and get back to you later." - Mary Bly

"There are many intelligent species in the
universe. They are all owned by cats." - Anonymous

"There are two means of refuge from the miseries of
life: music and cats." - Albert Schweitzer

"Do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are
subtle and will piss on your computer." - Bruce Graham

"Cats seem to go on the principle that it never
does any harm to ask for what you want." -Joseph Wood Krutch

Hello Felix Noir, and Welcome! You've been mentioned several times on the Balderdash thread. I'm looking forward to seeing you there and wherever else your little paws land!
