For benefit of those with dial-ups that are slower to load, I've started a new Welcoming New Members thread here:

http://www.able2know.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2508

Welcome New Members 2003

Nice to see friends online on this fine New Year's Day! (Although I hear in SOME parts of the world it is no longer this day, but a 'back-to-work' day otherwise known as Thursday...

Cobalt, this forum doesn't have load-time implications for dial-up users (like me) as other forums do. If you'll look at the word association game, it's close to 6000 posts already. Threads can just go on and on and on and on and on ...

Hi everyone,....and thank you for the warm welcome!....I apologize for not replying to each post individually......I haven't been online for what seems like forever!!.....Only a fool such as I, would decide to do a major house renovation three weeks before Christmas!!....Needless to say, my holiday is usually an enjoyable, festive, fun-filled time for all in my household.....decorations, laughter, lots of good food, good drink, and good friends......THIS year was, extremely stressed for me!.....My tree is up the day after Thanksgiving, usually....but this year it went up 2 days before Christmas, AND, I was doing the final bit of shopping and wrapping on Christmas Eve!!......That's an absolute, unheard of thing with me!!.....But, as the Grinch found out, Christmas came anyway.....and I'll admit, the stress went away, and I got a chance to finally, relax and enjoy the day!....Hopefully, now that the holidays are over, I'll be able to get back to interacting with all of my friends! (I'm soooo looking forward to it!)
