@gungasnake,
NO, the guy is actually trying to be honest. He doesnt know what the actual animal looked like, those are bio artists illustrations.

"Honesty"--something Creationists and IDers feel no need to employ in their Fairy tale based worldview

ever notice that when quahog wants to disparage someone, he calls them "girl"or "girly", or "she", even when they're obviously guys? And that's the only context in which he uses those words, when he wants to attempt to belittle someone.Which clearly means that in addition to his other obviousl faults he's also a raving sexist jerk.

@MontereyJack,
Hes just an idiot who is angry at science (and english) because he got 200's on his British Equivs of the SAT's.
You used to get a 200 by signing your name correctly.

At least hes no longer screaming epithets at folks like some homeless maniac

@farmerman,
He's not British. He's already stated English is not his first language. Kids do Sats in year 6 and year 9. It's a test of English and maths and is a guide to how they'll do in their GCSEs at 16. I don't know what you mean by Sats, but it doesn't sound anything like the ones over here.

Again Quahog is not British.

SAT means scholastic aptitude testing, and refers to an examination which was developed at the end of the 19th century to determine if students would make acceptable applicants at colleges and universities. There are not different types of secondary education (usually--there are a few, a very few, exceptions) in the U.S., so there is no placement testing before the university level.

@Setanta,
We don't have an equivalent. At 16 kids take GCSE's, similar to what used to be called O levels. There is some degree of options, but they normally take about 7-11 of them. One has to be English, and one Maths, there's usually a Foreign language, Science and a Humanity, Geography or History or even RE.

Depending on GCSE results they either go to work, take on an apprenticeship or enter the sixth form, some are separate colleges, others are part of the school. There, at age 18, they take A levels usually 3 or 4. Those results determine whether or not they get a place at University. Although if your A levels are in Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology you're unlikely to be offered a degree course in History.

Apprenticeships are the responsibility of the trade union involved. All students attend secondary school, high school. There are, or once were, mostly in large cities, vocational schools which attempted to provide the same education as high schools, but without the social activities or the sports programs, so that students could learn a trade. Basically, though, the idea is that anyone can do anything for which they qualify. A student who graduates high school, for example, but who has not taken the SAT, or was not accepted a an institution of higher education, can attend what is know as a community college, which can provide more specialized vocational training, or a two year general education course. Many students in community colleges are able to transfer to colleges or universities with degree courses if they have preformed acceptably in a commuity college.

There re really is not national control of education, but it's not for want of trying, like Baby Bush's no child left behind, which enforced rote learning on schools who would benefit from federal education funds, and which was much vilified by educators. It has faded away. Essentially, education is in the hands of states, counties and townships, and Americans like it that way.

@Setanta,
Our SATS tests, at 11 and 14 are national, just one body, but they're just used by schools to estimate how a child should do later on, and help in league tables. GCSE's and A levels are also national, but there's more than one body that offers them. We have vocational colleges as well where kids who aren't right for A levels can retake their GCSEs and do more work related activities. Some of which might be quite academic. There's an agricultural college near here, some kids go on to become shepherds or dairy farmers but others go on to university to become vets or engineers.

@izzythepush,
In US land grant Unis, the entire ag schools cover everything from husbandry to vet medicine ag engineering and agronomy . You can get certificates (EDU''s), associates degrees ,all the way to doing Post doc research. Penn STate , eg , has an ag college that is about 20 stories high. An farms and greenhouses all over the valley and throughout the State (different climate and soils and slopes. Next to ag is the school of Forestry another huge building .

Why do people deny Nazism? Again, mainly because, like evolutionism, it's a bunch of ideological bullshit.

Except in the Ukraine that is, where Nazism has the full support of Bork Obunga and the rogue US state department....

Left something out.... Nazism in the Ukraine has the support of the US state department and community-organizer in chief AND a few idiots in England who've apparently smoked enough reefer to imagine themselves still having some sort of an empire or something like that or who think some sort of a new empire can be constructed starting in Eastern europe...

And, people, let's face it now.

Even if 'people' like fm, paranodos etc will understand that evolution is one big hoax they will NEVER admit that here, because they want to save face.
It is east to see that from their postings.

So, they won't show if they have changed their religion. Not here, that is for sure.

Yes, I know it is a bit cowardly, but that is the way these 'people' 'work"
