How does that happen ... without ID interference?

We have direct evidence about the levels of oxygen on the planet and the emergence of blue green algae and later, vascular plants. We even know that, in the early Paleozoic, when plants and oxygen were able to colonize the dry lands huge wild fires that covered areas of half a continent had occurred . I doubt that ID had anything to do with the rapid rise of photosynthesis and some "oops" in oxygen levels that occurred (especially since Paleozoic fire departments weren't very well organized). We see that plants have left their records in the rocks that show they've developed partially because certin plant types can utilize resources and dry conditions (as well as CO2) much more competitively.

I wonder what evidence you can muster about how ID controls all this complex of resource and organism "feedback"

You guys have a very Merry Christmas and I hope we can keep it fun and not get too serious

@JimmyJ,
It's very strange James that a militant atheist feels the need to resort to the rather delicate and quaint formula of f****** and defenders of the faith have no problem with *******.

I think the historical pseudomorphosis has got the hex on you. I have boozed a good few times with two Jesuit priests in mufti, 30 odd years ago when skirts were very economic with textiles, who were ******* and cunting it all night long.

Not been studying Victorian etiquette manuals have you?

Setanta does "f*ck" so he's more advanced than you.

You needn't worry about that. We all know just how very serious it is.

You may have also evidences that the mirror is 'rotating the image on the spot', but you don't have any plausible explanations ... why the image is rotated by the vision system into the brain in order to 'align it' to the surface of the mirror.

RE: the blue green algae

You are talking about the blue green algae as if they have always existed. How did the big bang 'guessed' that it needs exactly blue-green algae ... and not brown for example. You may have observations, but you are missing the explanations ... and the causality, not to speak that you are missing the mechanics of the processes.
How many blue green algae have you printed so far by the DNA laser printer in the lab ... and how many of these have you set in operation ... and how can you guarantee that when you start doing this you can prevent an eventual biocatastrophe?
Merry Christmas!

How did the Big Bang produce dollar bills, cheques and derivative futures?

If they haven't got an explanation for that they haven't got an explanation for anything. So you can take their explanation of whatever they have chosen to explain, after sifting the range for a feechewer which most closely fits their explanations, to be the same explanation as the explanation of why blue-green algae is not brown.

And if that taxes their explanatory powers they had better not attempt an explanation of dollars, cheques and sundry financial instruments which condition every move they make.

Are you suffering from early onset Alzheimers? You were given the correct optical resolution to this a few pages back. Have you already forgotten?

Herald isn't going to bother about that fm. I have been permanently pissed for the last ten years.

Such an all-purpose remark serves any purpose except that of impressing discerning viewers with an admiration for the intelligence from which it evolved.

fm aims at undiscerning viewers. All fat-arsed, baldy-headed know-alls are the same.

@spendius,
Your point here escapes me. Are you trying to be cool, funny, or intelligent? You achieved none of the three.

I used asterisks on the word because it is generally accepted by society to be a disrespectful term. Don't read any further into it than that. Try to stay on topic.

Perhaps that's because most atheists don't take you seriously due to your silly stances. That is a more likely explanation for the way people talk to you.

I have not forgot this (even if I have, the computer hasn't). So, here is your 'the correct optical resolution to this a few pages back':

Quote:
Basically, a mirror flips around the reflection from FRONT to BACK, like pulling a glove inside out.

Do you know what is the bad news here - the mirror does not do anything of the kind. It simply does not dispose with the engine of the right type to do so ... and it doesn't matter how many books per nanosecond you may read - this is not the case.
It is the vision system of our brain that is 'flipping' the image from front to back in order to synchronize the surface of the image with the surface of the mirror ... but this is very different from what you are saying.
... and the ugly news is that you, in the capacity of top apologist of evolution do not have even the slightest idea why it is so ... where the key word is 'even the slightest'.

@Herald,
heres a little experiment we can try at home.

1TAKE A NEWSPPER WITH A HEADLINE

2HOLD THE NEWSPAPER UP TO A MIRROR AND TAKE A PICTURE OF THE REFLECTION

3TELL US HOW THE HEADLINE APPEARS
1Normal, since the eye isn't involved OR
2backwards , since it is Fresnels Law governing the reflection of photons

@farmerman,
But seeing things in a mirror on film is known as German expressionism and everyone knows Germans are backwards in the eyes of some.

So as you can see, I have proved it's still a visual thing.

@JimmyJ,
But a casino universe knows nothing of disrespectful. Only IDers can do disrespect.

A Casino Universe Natural Theology can only use respect as a strategy to not be thought ill of by IDers.
