@FBM,
He's more afraid to duke it out with scientists because he already knows it's a losing proposition. He thinks a social network forum will be easier to handle.

He just thought wrong.

@cicerone imposter,
Looks that way. But that's not the way it works anymore...

A successful theory is one that, unlike spurious beliefs and claims that aren't supported empirically, makes predictions that can be tested for:

New subatomic particles predicted by Canadians found at CERN
New baryons found at Large Hadron Collider are 6 times more massive than protons

By Emily Chung, CBC News Posted: Nov 19, 2014 9:01 AM ET Last Updated: Nov 19, 2014 3:50 PM ET

Two new subatomic particles whose existence was predicted by Canadian particle physicists have been detected at the world's largest particle collider.

...

"Nature was kind and gave us two particles for the price of one," added Matthew Charles, of the CNRS's LPNHE laboratory at Paris VI University, in a statement.

'We did have good reason to believe those particles would be there.'
- Stephen Blusk, Syracuse University
Blusk and Charles jointly analyzed the data that led to this discovery. The data was generated by the LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider near the border of France and Switzerland. LHCb is an international collaboration involving roughly 750 scientists from around the world.

...

The existence of the two new baryons had been predicted in 2009 by Canadian particle physicists Randy Lewis of York University and Richard Woloshyn of the TRIUMF, Canada's national particle physics lab in Vancouver.

Lewis said he saw the paper when it was first published online last night around 8 p.m.

"I saw the title [and] I thought, 'Oh, I predicted those — I wonder how it turned out?" he recalled. "I looked up their numbers and I said, 'Yeah, that looks a lot like what I predicted — great!"

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwnn

CERN again???

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawnnn

why do people so easily take all this crap so uncritically?

It really is unbelievable.

@Quehoniaomath,
Of course. You would know since you are using that empty circular space in your head to conduct your particle acceleration experiments.

Ahhhhhh Your Ad Hominem again!

well, by now you must be aware that that are no arguments.
But a LACK of arguments. Wink

What bullshit. We present evidence. We present facts. And you simply ignore them and deny, deny, deny. You're the hoax, quahog, not evolution.

@MontereyJack,
Isn't it amazing how they demand details of evolution (that's been provided by many credible sources) but don't question their bible that's full of errors, omissions, and contradictions.

Their demands on evolution and no demand on their bible is somewhat hypocritical.

@cicerone imposter,
I think the issue for some Christians (A very small minority), is that they try to see the Bible as FACT and not LITERATURE

And as for "literature"...I personally feel the Bible is rated way, way, way, way to highly as literature. The plot line for the god and creation is preposterous...and does not exceed the kind of thing kindergarten and first grade school kids are given to help with reading development.

The poetry is pedestrian...and sounds like the kind of thing written by Ugandans about Idi Amin while he was president.

Just sayin'!

     'Scientists' - are you joking? They are all fans of the status quo - with few exceptions. Most of them prefer to talk things that are convenient and safe for their career and promotion ... instead of looking for the truth ... for example.

     If you are curious to know, you cannot bullshitting us to infinity. The particles are mapped in the light spectrum, which is natural - that is what the spectral analysis is for ... which has nothing to do with any Big Bang ever happening, any expansion of the Universe, and any creation of whatever in the Universe ... not to say ever proved.
     The Higgs boson does neither prove the existence of Hyperspace, not its dimensions, and the String Theory does not disprove the existence of hyper-intelligence - capisci?

Considering the composition of that almost sentence of yours...I can understand why you would.

That is all.

Or show me where you present evidence!

@Quehoniaomath,
Ade hominem? Actually it was sarcasm to point out the emptiness of your claim. Are you conducting experiments with a particle accelerator? I sarcastically pointed out you have no such experience unless you are conducting such experiments in your empty head, in which case I would be wrong about the sarcasm.

There's a mountain more evidence in one sentence of what they publish than in everything you've written so far. Got any evidence for your god yet? Anything? Any tiny scrap? Laughing

Laughing The only thing I'm curious to know from him is where is the evidence for his magical, invisible sky-wizard. I'm betting that we both die of old age before he answers that one honestly.
