Ukraine 'condemns' the Holocaust

The world is full of weird things just like Ukraine's new bill that suppose up to five years in jail for justifying or denying the Holocaust. It would be likely if Ukrainian nationalists like Svoboda party did not take significant amount places in a number of Ukraine's regional councils in Ternopol, Lvov and others. For those who don't know Svoboda is one of the most powerful lobbyists of heroizing Stepan Bandera and Ukrainian Insurgent Army and they at regular basis organize rallies that praise their actions and they also insist that Holocaust was a right thing and today Ukraine needs to get reed of all Jews and using experience of Nazi Germany is the only solution. Nobody knows but on 15 of October, the day when Bandera died, Svoboda organized bashings of Jewish shops in Lvov, but Ukrainian authorities forced media to keep silence not to harm their image during negotiations with European Union. I knew this because I work close with Ukrainian antifascist activists to provide them with coverage in independent media. I'm righting this just to show the hypocrisy of Ukrainian authorities who show Europe and the entire West how they fight with relics of totalitarianism while in fact they encourage Svoboda and similar nationalist movements to suppress Jews and national minorities in Ukraine. So it's no wonder that Ukrainian authorities failed during negotiations with EU and other Western parties because no one wants to have business with Yanukovych who want to be in two places at once...
