It seems obvious that Bush, if re elected, will forment civil unrest in Iran and then use that as an excuse for military intervention. But of course he has to get re elected first, so "no war in 2004". But he's got a beauty for 2005/6.

I am sure that all enemies of the US are hoping for a Bush re-election and for the same reason. Who else could possibly do more damage to our nation than he.

If our enemies wanted Bush's re-election they would be trying to make him look good. They aren't. They want him gone. And some Americans just keep falling for the propaganda they keep spewing out there.

i think a lot of you missed the point of the article, if you even read it.

this is a powerful group in iran that wants iran to be a nonsecularist democracy like the US.

they say that democratic leaders have done little to support them but that bush has.

i support their noble cause and i would support bush if he is honestly trying to help them.

Again, I agree. For an intersting look at recent Iranian politics, read Willifred Buchta's Wer Fuehrt Iran? Available in English translation from the The Washington Institute For Near East Policy Press, as "Who Rules Iran?"

IMO we should stay out of the internal affairs of Iran. If the Iranians want a regime change let them fight for it. Every time the US get's involved they end up with the short end of the stick.
