See this is the problem. You've only got two sides, so they're either right or wrong depending on the issue or blind allegiance.
There is no middle ground, there is no grey, no god forbid third opinion, you either agree and have your back against the wall in defense of every party issue or you grow disheartened and drop out of the process.
And if your party decides to screw up your/the economy even more than under previous management, you jump in step with company line and start spewing the propaganda.
You don't have to know what you're fighting for, you just gotta fight. Dammit.
So pick a side. You're either going pick one side, probably only one issue, either yes or no, and depending on who you talk to, you win. Yay!!
Get used to it. Your system is doomed to fail. There is no compromise, no capitulation, no agreement, just histrionics.
It has been like watching Lord of the Flies recently, only the decision isn't about survival of prepubescent boys, more than screwing over whoever voted against them. A massive pissing contest. Fascinating.
