The wars in Vietnam and Iraq were both entered under false pretenses, something not mentioned in the article.

The war in Iraq may be worse than Vietnam. This is only the beginning of what may be a decades-long occupation of Iraq.

The U.S. could have left Vlietnam at any time without consequences to the U.S. Leaving Iraq now would mean a civil war and possible instability for the whole Middle East. That could seriously affect world-wide oil-based economies.

Bush got us into a big pile of dung in Iraq, and it will take somebody else to get us out.

and it could've been prevented if Clinton was more concerned with national security rather than getting a hummer from a fat intern. Oh, right, its Bush's fault. Carry on.

"...and it could've been prevented if Clinton was more concerned with national security rather than getting a hummer from a fat intern. Oh, right, its Bush's fault." BW Bush loyalist

Why are these righties so jealous of Clinton's sex life?

What could've "been prevented" BW? Saddam?

Wrong again.

Saddam could've been prevent if Saint Reagan hadn't sold him arms back in the early 1980's in a deal brokered by Whack-job Rumsfeld.

Carry on. LOL!!!!

BWShooter,

There is no doubt that the war in Iraq is Bush's fault. He sent in the troops. He made the decision to attacks. Many other politicians would have done differently.

The war in Iraq is Bush's fault. He is responsible for the 645 American deaths and the thousands of Iraqi deaths. Like LBJ before him, the quagmire is his responsibility.

I doubt if a little sex would have helped at all.
