It makes a lot of noise along with black smoke.

Okay Har but does it sputter at all

I presume the smoke means the ignition is still working so of it were me I'd suspect valves frozen, just hook up a charger and keep at it

Could be an accumulation of oil in they cylinders, too, but the charger is still a good possibility. Condensation could be a problem as well.

I think your injectors are clogged. Please add a can of Red line. You can visit here for more info on injectors :
