Did you guys watch 60 Minutes last Sunday? Another whistle blower, Jack Spadaro, condemned the corruption of the Bush admin. Very disturbing and shocking revelation. Apparently the White House paid back a big contributor (Massey Energy Company) by limiting the investigation into a major environmental catastrophe the company caused (25 times the size of the Exxon Valdez spill) !

If you missed it, check out these sites:

"The Bush administration came in and the scope of our investigation was considerably shortened. I had never seen something so corrupt and lawless in my entire career."
Jack Spadaro

This White House is just so busy defending itself, turmoil after turmoil. I am surprised that the other TV and radio networks have not picked up on this story like they did with Richard Clarke and Paul O'Neill. I am even more surprised that the Democrats have not introduced impeachment of Bush and Cheney! If Bush were a Democrat, we would have had hearings every single day!

This coming Presidential election, my slogan will be: ANYONE BUT BUSH!

No Justice!!!!
Because the Congress is dominated by the Right Wing and most Democrats are spineless the Executive branch has carte blanche regarding criminal acts.

Yes, I saw the program and it was very disturbing.

I wondered why so little coverage was seen in the press about Massey's follies and then I realized: mines aren't sexy and it took place in Kentucky, so who would care?

Had the spill been in a major media center like LA, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York, the media would've been all over it, IMHO.
