The Inquisition - the movie; (screen play by Umberto Ecco)

immediately followed by the ever popular "Intefadda" (however it's spelled? - a little light comedy, that one, lots of 'puns'!),

and the "Revenge of the Infidels", starring Charlton Heston, a rifle on both hips!

The Stashin' of the Christ

Chong gets out of prison and hooks up with his old buddy Cheech for a desert adventure. Imagine what they found! A sweet stash of fine chronic hidden in the Ark of the Covenant.

Cheech: "Oh man, this some good ****."

Chong:"Yeah man, let's start our own religion."

It's a comeback film, Bo, similar to a ressurection of a really bad schtick. Laughing

Souls Man

Jesus won't get into Harvard because he's the Son of God, so he disguises himself to fool the admissions committee.

Ebert - I didn't know Christ was originally Semitic.
Roeper - He's from the Middle East.
Ebert - Oh yeah. D'oh!

I thought it was weird that Jesus called God something close to "Allah", in Aramaic, in "The Passion". Did anyone else catch that? I guess being inaccurate about Jews isn't the only thing Mel is good at.

Actually, Allah is just the arabic translation of 'God'. The same way 'Dios' or 'Dieu' in Spanish and French (respectively) mean God. If you're a Christian and you're praying to God in arabic, then you would still say 'allah' in your prayers. And seeing how Arabic came from Aramaic, he must just be saying 'My God, my God' or something

Anyway, this has got to be the most absurd thing that money-sucking, greedy, Hollywood producers have thought of to milk the public of more of their hard-earned cash! Hehehe, but still I'd be funny to see 'em try.

Gibson got convince to sub-title purely by the distributor's effort to market the film. He went back on his own principals to make this an "arty" film -- it was not -- it's popularity entertainment for those who are, well, being the tactful person I am (Ha, Ha) I can't put that down in words on this forum because it's against the TOS.

Welcome rhythm.synergy to A2K and the film forum.
