Delete a post

We presently live in different cities. I met them when they visited NYC and when I went to Boston so its not like I can pass this on in person.

So, you started going on about deleting a post (many, many, many posts) after a question about writing an analytical essay about the baddest dog in harlem, and parrallels to a Springsteen song.

What exactly is the big deal?

Are you worried about your teacher or fellow pupils seeing you asked about homework? Or some math or maths thing (spelled differently if you are in the U.S. or Britain) you wanted to share?

It seems that there are very few folks working here on a volunteer basis, so they are very busy.

I myself am trying to contact them, but in vain: for not even when I got to post as in a group of posters wanting to contact them, I don't get no reaction from them at all.

Still it seems they talk among themselves, but too busy to deal with our inquiries or say gripes.

But, I tell you, these chaps are pretty tolerant, you don't get banned easily, just suspended.

And to date I have not been suspended, except I got two threads I started and they went into limbo, no sight of them soon after they came out in public forums.

And I can't imagine why they put them down, unless it is because the threads have titles which they don't like, for example, in the first thread I titled the thread like, Dear name of poster I really want to have an exchange with you one on one on how to think.

In the second one, the title of my thread was "The Complete Philosophy Best For Mankind," the idea there is that all thinkers who start with nothingness as their launching pad, they should be avoided like the plague, because they are in effect crazy, for how can you at all start with nothing-ness, for it already requires that you also evaporate into nothing-ness - unless these nothingness guys are just liars to themselves and hope to deceive us also.

So, you see, I have experienced two threads I started, and they came out, then later I checked and they were gone, out of sight in the public forums - that means there are guys working to control how we contribute thoughts in their a2k forum.

So, I say to myself, I am having a good deal here, no need to antagonize the chaps running the show here, they ain't no characters like atheists in their own atheists' forums, these latter guys are a nasty lot: unless you really have the stomach, like you have to study their nasty psychology, better steer clear of these nasty very nasty forums.

Dear Tina, your problem is how to delete a post you sent, my trouble is with two threads put down by the powers that be, without any ceremony.

Tell you what, just write a new message to tell readers that you are taking back your post of concern.

No need to fear that you are making yourself look foolish or even stupid or say with no sense of decency or civility: BECAUSE with taking back your words and even apologizing if need be, you are already redeeming yourself.

I always challenge my opponent posters to tell me what they find inconsistent and/or incoherent with my thinking, you know what they tell me?

Like this: "You [me Susmariosep] are a dickhead."

So, that is a great compliment to me, because my opponents show themselves to be incapable of genuine thinking on truths facts, logic, and the best thoughts of mankind from since the dawn of man's conscious intelligence.

The give-away evidence of their deficiency in thinking is that they react with extreme hatred toward me, that is of no thinking at all, but pure evil of hatred.

You're a legend in your own mind. I don't hate you, you simply are not that meaningful to me. I am contemptuous of you, because you just don't get it. Tina has not posted here in almost four years. What you did or did not "tell Tina" is another meaningless thing.

I think I will resume posting in this thread, because I see that the question of Tina about whether there are people in charge, can still use some feedback from everyone with some thoughts of constructive import:
Dear Tina, when you are present, please take my advice, no need to get to delete a post for whatever reason, just write another post to say what you need to say, in order that readers get to know why you need to delete a previous post.

That is the most praiseworthy step you can take, in the situation that you can't have any assurance that there are people existing in charge of answering to your need, in the present context, to delete a previous post.

There, I have again contributed what I see for my own justification for posting here, namely, in order to give advice and also encouragement to a fellow colleague, who is concered with the need to delete a previous post.

Dear Centrox, I will just repeat to Tina when she comes around, what I am telling everyone reading this thread, that I like to contribute my thinking on how to deal with the seeming absence of people in charge of moderating posts here in a2k, namely, that they are most probably few compared to the number of posts pouring forth everyday. so not to expect that people will get attention to their queries or complaints whatever.

In the meantime they can search for solution to their own needs, like with Tina, how to delete a previous post.

And my advice is if you cannot get the people in charge to decide to delete it or not, then people should just send another post to inform readers that the author of the post in question should not be taken as anymore still with the intension to have the post come out and to continue to stay in public; and the reason could be that the post was written when the author was not as well informed as afterwards after having transmitted the post.

Dear readers, I have not come across any writers today who have produced a retraction of their earlier writings, as I know of one ancient writer who wrote more books than any author today, and without the aid of computers either.

In his old age he spent a lot of time and labor to produce volume after volume of books into the retractions of his earlier thinking.

But I know one Einstein of current memory who did something in his mathematics which is called a fudge factor, later he learned that even with a fudge factor in his math, he was mistaken, and he declared publicly that it was the biggest mistake in his whole life as a scientist.

Well, Centrox, I have witnessed two threads from myself having disappeared, and after thinking it over, I concluded that it was certainly caused by the powers that be here, and that I submit to their discretionary power to delete whatever they think best to delete.

That is why I looked up threads of people who might have some similar experience, wherefore I am in this thread, and there is no prohibition to bring up an old thread, as far as I am aware of in this a2k forum.

There, I will now sit back, dear readers here, and see what will happen, but I tell you all readers here, I really enjoy writing about my thinking in this a2k forum, and very glad that I have not been banned without ceremony, unlike in many a forum I have been to where I got banned without ceremony for writing the way I write here.
