I've just seen footage on TV showing Syrian rebels firing a TOW missile from a tripod mount.

Of course, while the US is the country that makes them, lots of countries have them, so we are not necessarily the ones who provided it.

But someone is certainly stepping up the rebels' armaments.

Sauds are in there. I don't give a **** who supplied the weapons, but knowing what they are capable of puts you in the class of a psychopath.

I understand "innocent until proven guilty", but when a regime has hidden their actions and hasn't been honest about their production facilities, you've got to wonder why. I understand not knowing if military action should be taken against Syria, but it's not poking our noses into someone else's matters - it's something that should be of concern to us.
