I'm finishing a painting and I would like to title it in Latin. It should be "Deposition from the Cross" (Christ being taken down from the Cross) in Latin. It has been so many years since I took Latin, and I want to make sure that I have my cases right. I think it should be rendered

"Deposicio ab Crucis"

is that correct?

Thanks,
Anthony

@George,
Thank you, but is that Latin or Spanish? It looks strange from the little Latin I remember.

@Antaine,
Is which Latin or Spanish?
I don't know Spanish.
My response was Latin.

@George,
Okay. I meant your response. It looked like Spanish, but then again, if I knew Latin well, I would have be able to do it without assistance, lol.

Thanks!
