So over on Fantasy Football Tico asked in League Messages about if the waiver business is new re free agents. I eventually saw what he meant, and then was aggravated, as is my way. But now I can't quite remember if FAs went to waivers pre-game before. I don't think so, but am confused. Anyone else remember? Tico said it did but that we got it changed...

I remember because 2 years ago I tried to pick up Cam Newton, but was frozen out from doing so because of "weekly waivers," which was a new concept for our league. That rule changed by majority vote before that first waiver period expired. Last year the setting was set to "weekly waivers" OFF. This year, it's on again.
