I've got a good one for ya. My wife was doing something on her laptop, and while she was working, our cat Dash jumped up on her lap then walked across the keyboard. The screen flipped. Now up is down and left is right, and the whole display is upside down. I tried to restart, but that didn't change anything. Has anyone had this happen, and how did you fix it?

@snood,
Nevermind. Hit control+alt+up arrow and it's fixed.

@snood,
Good. I was going to suggest something similar along those lines.

Some cat!

I was going to suggest tapping it with a sledge hammer. Glad you got it fixed.

I know, right? We were talking about it - wondering if the cat had walked specifically across the control+alt+DOWN keys to bollocks it up!

@snood,
Sometimes you can fix that sort of a glitch by using your coursor to 'flip' the page, much the same as you'd use it to 'drag' an item from one corner of your screen to another. Depends on where the trouble is. I'm glad your solution worked out

Cats are far more computer-literate than they let on. One of my cats once deleted some work of mine. That's when I learned about saving often. I knew that she wanted to do something nasty. I was working instead of paying attention to her.

@Roberta,
lol
...and they always seem to be positioning themselves in a way to make you stumble and/or fall. Devious little critters. And I wouldn't take anything for 'em either - so you know I'm crazy.

@snood,
You've heard this before,I'm sure,but it's worth repeating --

Dogs have owners; cats have staff.

@Lustig Andrei,
Andy, I wrote a poem about this and my cat Miranda.

If Miranda were a person,
She'd be J.A.P.
Perfect hair.
Perfect nails.
And a cleaning lady--me.
