and on the thirteenth day I got Steve Irwin in to sort the whole bloody mess out!!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I have no true love!!!!!
As I said before.
Aussie's are wacko's :d
The Mayor of Cairns was/is here on Guam today. He was here doing some p.r. stuff. The people from Guam who have gone to Cairns (and there alot of them) have come back with glowing reports of the beauty of the region and hospitality of the people there. Reminds me of Maui.
I'm glad things have changed, when I was in the Marine Corps (70's) we did a joint exercise with the Austrailian Military, I was not impressed. The ego's of the Austrailan military and the veiled prejudiced over my team which consisted of two black-americans irritated me to a physical confrontation with their commander, which made things worse. Never been back to Australia since then.
But since I NEVER blanket all people over one bad apple it's hearting to see so many of you here discussing things with an open mind. And yes, truth be told, I enjoy all your posts and your opinons.
On a final note, we beat them on their home field by 1.25 hours. I delivered a beer to the unit commander when they finally crossed the finish line. Unfortunately he threw it, damn waste of a perfectly good beer.
If I remember the Hawaiian version of the twelve days of Chritmas I'll post it.
I hope you all have a VERY MERRY Christmas and a PROSPEROUS New Year.
Pueo
The Aussies are OK really - you just have to look at them from a different perspective than most people.
Oh. I thought this was going to be tht 12 days of Christmas Oz (the HBO prison drama) -style.
Huh.
Margo - I thought you might have guessed - I'm a kiwi. So you know that my remark was made with fondness but it is a natural instinct for us to have a dig at each other isn't it?
Ah - cousinly ribbing! teeeeheeeeeee!
AVAST, MATES ... AS YOU WERE!!!
I'd say things're definitely heatin' up down under there, thanks in large measure to the sole USMC lookout what's monitoring the bounteous muttoneers cohabitin' in them South Sea marches. But the jarheads are always the first ashore, if only to leave some other poor sods to mop up.
From the look of things, it may well take Slattery's Mounted Fut to sort this lot out.

Whassat, deb .... cousins? Cor blimey, we're all bloomin' cousins, come to that ... transported for life tinkers and tailors and ... and ... and, well, cobblers to the poms.
Awwwwww, pueo, why are you such a soggy blanket when it comes to Oz?
Wackos ... wackos????? You don't think you're generalizing a wee bit, do you? Actually, we are truly delightful & EXTREMELY attractive ... some of us are even enlightened!
Now was that a nice thing to do to to Wilso's Christmas message, I ask?
BTW, Wilso, I really enjoyed singing along!
Ah, you guy's know that I'm kidding.
It's funny to see what dlowan will come up with when I mention wacko's. On one of her afuzz digressions she came up with a couple of good ones. Still cracks me up when I re-read them.
OK, forgiven, pueo, IF you promptly say something
EXTREMELY WONDERFUL about OZ.
I am the great and powerful wizard of Oz!
I am the lesser and meek wizard of Oz...
About Oz, in the Southern hemisphere, pueo ...
C'mon, you can do it if you try!
Great lyrics! Did you all know I did a report on Lyrebirds in elementary school? %th grade I think. Was very cute and never once mentioned Australia.
G'day pueo
I just realised you're on similiar time to us - not the same exactly, because we have daylight saving now, so you're an hour behind. You fit in well with the banana-benders!
I didn't realise Guam was up there - I thought it was a little more over there - you know - there - a bit to the right. Now, c'mon, say something nice for Msolga!
Gadzooks - we have a K1W1 on the thread - batten down the hatches.
