HAPPY 4th OF JULY, EVERYONE!!!!!

Please observe CAUTION in your celebratory gunfire!

U shud not discharge your firearms in an upward direction,
because those slugs r going to end up SOMEWHERE,
or in someone. Thay showed a woman on TV who was
hit by celebratory gunfire last 4th of July
when she was hit by a falling slug,
causing a nasty chestwound, with an unsightly scar.

Thay said on the news that 2 other women
elsewhere were also hit, albeit with lesser injuries,
but please be careful !!

Some among us will be satisfied
with firecrackers, Roman candles and M-8Os.

Please do not aim celebratory gunfire
at the English, because thay already gave up
and, in fairness: thay did their part
to make the 4th of July what it is today.

@OmSigDAVID,
So, instead of firing Upward, I shall now fire my 30-06 at a shallow angle to the horizon? Wont that exacerbate the severity of a potential exit wound?

I can say that C-4 givs me a splitting headache. (All those vasodilators in the smoke)

@OmSigDAVID,
If you lot aimed celebratory gunfire at the English, you'd probably just about hit France.

@Lordyaswas,
DO you know what George III posted in his blog on this day in 1776?

Here is a nice description of the second war of independence and the origin of the national anthem.

One of my favorite Acts and Things
happened on July 20, 1969: America 's first manned landing on the Moon.
It took us 4 days to get up there.
I watched it all on TV, in my bedroom.
