@BillRM,
Women don't need "special protection" from Zimmerman.

Everyone needs protection from Zimmerman. Laughing

Only shady characters need fear Zim, he's like the Lone Ranger, Flash Gordon and Spiderman rolled into one, Hollywood will probably cast Vin Diesel to play him when they film his life story..Smile

Funny you didn't notice that Zimmerman finished his training--he's a full-fledged "hoodlum"

He threatens people with guns, or threatens to use them, he was arrested for assaulting a law enforcement officer, he's had a restraining order taken out against him for domestic violence, he's had a cousin accuse him of sexually molesting her during childhood, he once turned off the electricity in his mother's home because he was ticked off at her, he needlessly killed an innocent kid because the hot-headed wacko wannabe cop didn't have the self-control to remain in his car, then he lied to a judge about his assets, and engaged in an elaborate scheme to fraudulently conceal those assets, and a second passport, so he could skip the country and avoid prosecution for killing that kid, he repeatedly violates traffic laws, his mother-in-law has accused him of stealing $4000+ worth of her property and defacing the interior of a home he rented from her, he assaulted his father-in-law, a Chief of Police considers him "a ticking time bomb" and "another Aurora or Sandy Hook waiting to happen", and currently he's out on bail for charges that could get him up to 18 years in prison...

I can see a lot of me in Zimmy..Smile
When i was arrested on a vigilante charge in 2001, the psychiatrists report concluded with- "Mr X's behaviour was appropriate; he is a very strong-willed individual which accounts for the trouble he now finds himself in"
In other words, when me and Zim see suspicious activity in our neighbourhoods, we fearlessly step up to the plate to tackle it head on like bouncers..Smile

"And nobody better forget it!"

"Zimmy" now faces up to 18 years in prison on his current charges.

Perhaps you will have the good fortune to have that happen to you too..

I never actually killed anybody so I'm not in Zimmy's league.
Mind you, I went around the streets completely unarmed, so in that respect I'm much tougher than him..Smile
I was even shot at once after dark, 3 shots rang out of the shadows across the street, two slammed into the wall of a house and the third hit me in the leg but i just carried on walking, how kool is that?

@BillRM,
Quote:
I see black Travyon as a hoodlum in training and I see the mixed race also dark skin Latin by the name of George Zimmerman ...

Since you've also said that Zimmerman is no more white than Obama is, you apparently see the killing of Trayvon Martin as just another instance of black on black crime, that just confirms the fact that young black men are more likely to be killed by another black male. And all of the negative things you've said in this thread, about blacks and crime, would apply equally to George Zimmerman.

It's good you keep reminding people that Zimmerman isn't white, that helps to explain all of his aggressive actions, both past and present, and his run-ins with the law--that's sort of run-in-mill for black men, according to you, isn't it? And now that he's been arrested again, and might well wind up in prison, you'd likely not be surprised at that, because that's the path, you've pointed out, that so many black men follow.

Have you considered the possibility that Zimmerman is no more white than O.J.? There are similarities between the two.

@oralloy,
From Yahoo Answers.
Quote:
If police told Zimmerman to stay in the car when he called them, why didn't he?
STEEL asked 5 months ago
I don't live in Florida, and Florida "stand your ground laws" mean absolutely nothing to me since I live in Southern CA. And this case has NOTHING to do with my politics or what I believe is best for the country. But just a basic common sense question here.......if police told Zimmerman to stay in the car when he called them, then why didn't he?
Additional Details
Take it easy everybody! Just trying to get the facts straight! So a cop didn't tell him to stay in the car, a dispatcher told him quite simply "not to follow". And when he got out of his car, Trayvon Martin jumped him? Is that how it went down? (were the police already on their way?)

He followed, and what transpired can be blamed on Zimmerman.

"Not to follow" is Neighborhood Watch policy. NOT TO FOLLOW after calling the police.

@coldjoint,
From 10 News of Tampa Bay.
Quote:
But they do say Zimmerman is broke, still in massive debt due to legal fees and more.

Jeff Dowdy, the Chief Public Defender, said it's a huge number.

"I think $2.5 million," said Dowdy.

His lawyers say Zimmerman's family would pay his bond. He was released about three hours later.

Judge Schott told Zimmerman that despite his notoriety, he was doing his best to treat him as he would any other person brought up on similar charges, and Zimmerman thanked him for that.

If convicted on these charges, Zimmerman faces up to five years in prison with a minimum of three, because of the weapons charge.

His next court hearing is scheduled for January 7th.

Maybe, David can pay his debts. LOL

@cicerone imposter,
No one shud be put into that position of financial inconvenience
simply for defending himself, whether he followed anyone else, or not.

There shud be NO price for self defense.
Conspicuously, the right to self defense is more fundamental than any other right.
I wish that the Authors of the Constitution had the presence of mind to put that in.

Are you talking about the stalker who managed to precipitate a confrontation that ended with a young man dead?

He has not even begun to pay the price he should pay for what he did, David.

For purposes of clarity,
elucidation and confirmation of the extant state of affairs,
I hope that the Legislature of Florida will enact a statute
explicitly re-affirming the right of anyone to follow anyone in public
(in the absence of judicial process to the contrary,
from a court of competent jurisdiction).

@cicerone imposter,
Lying as one more as no 911 tape have any request on it that he get into his car and yahoo answer is no more a source then a posting on ask2know.org!!!!!!!

Next a neighborhood watch policy in no way limit the right of a citizen to follow anyone on the public streets be he a member on not a member.

They could I guess kicked him out of the program for not following a policy but their policy have zero standing in any legal sense.

Love how you feel the need to lied that the 911 dispatcher ordering him to remain in his car.

@OmSigDAVID,
We should change the law that anyone who is found innocent of charges resulting in an act of self defense get make completely whole by the state as far as any legal defense costs are concern.

Wouldn't bother me, David. As long as they keep their statutes dealing with stalkers...which might prevent other people from getting away with what Zimmerman was able to avoid.

We can hope...and I am sure you join me in hoping that stalkers always are brought to justice...even though we might disagree a tiny bit on what constitutes stalking.
