@cicerone imposter,
what wasn't proven in court? The fact that Martin attacked Zimmerman? How else do you explain a gun shot wound fired from a below and passing through a shirt that was hanging off someones body? It was fired from a standing position, and it wasn't point blank. Coroner stated as much when he gave his testimony. Only one person had wounds from fighting and it wasn't Zimmerman. Sounds like a sucker punch and then a head banging.

@RABEL222,
Sure, but,

"My first thought was perhaps he'd been taken out. If so, then I would declare there is such a thing as Justice!"

I don't actually think Moment in Time is advocating that as something to do, and she is truthful re her emotions, speaks as she knows herself, now.

I'm not talking as a perferctperson, just watching how we all think and say so.

Well, now let's reexamine your statement, Rabel. There are quite a significant number of people within our society who're born with a brain that doesn't live up to its full potential because of a mental defect. Intellectual disability is a generalized disorder appearing before adulthood....sometimes it is genetic. There are some among us who are exceptionally alert in certain areas and mentally challenged in others. Some may use the computer and be quite expert at it; it is usually the answers which give them away upon closer scrutiny.

In most cases, it doesn't require "close scrutiny." Mr. Green Drunk Drunk Rolling Eyes Laughing Laughing Shocked

Sure she is and she is the soul sister to the hoodlum Trayvon who feel that it was his right to assault someone for daring to follow him on the public streets.

Well, that is one determination one may come to; somehow I don't believe it's drinking too much.

On an unrelated note, I've enjoyed watching the antics of Senator Ted Cruz' obstructive tactics to prevent the funding of the Affordable Health Care law. This guy is a real character!

@Moment-in-Time,
Yea, he's losing a thousand votes for every minute he speaks. It only proves he's not that smart, and continues to destroy his own image as a smart guy. LOL

I was only trying to suggest that even a drunk would know better.

Ouch!! The computer crack hurts because I have lots of trouble figuring out how to post statements made by people in the know from magazines and tv stations.

People cant function without a brain. Oh wait I may have to rethink my last statement after reading some of your stuff.
Apparently, 222 suggests that Zimmy shud have WAITED
until his brain fell out to avoid a "trail" [sic],
before shooting the predator.

That is what 222 wud have recommended to Zimmy.

Ah, Rabel, it wasn't my goal to point out your lack of computer skills of which I'm unaware.....I was merely suggesting there's a significant number of ppl who are slower in some ordinary areas yet may excel in others, computers, for instance, but not to the degree they're described as savants....a member of my extended family has Down's Syndrome, uses the computer quite well, but is no sage; however, for one so mentally challenged, it's quite a feat....it's the atypical answers that cause one to take a second look at the individual.

Have a good day, friend.

In my personal opinion, you are more than mentally capable. Rabel, it wasn't my goal to point out your lack of computer skills of which I'm unaware.....I was merely suggesting there's a significant number of ppl who are slower in some ordinary areas yet may excel in others, computers, for instance, but not to the degree they're described as savants....a member of my extended family has Down's Syndrome, uses the computer quite well, but is no sage, mind you; however, for one so mentally challenged, it's quite a feat....it's the atypical answers that cause one to take a second look at the individual.

A joke MIT. I was just pointing out that even though I have a high I Q I am not great at the computer. Another joke, except the computer part.

Asimov the writer of five hundreds plus books on every subject under the sun and the President of Mensa for a time once call radio shack due to his early generation radio shack computer not booting and the repair man came to his home and re-plug it back in!

One must always be careful how they post or else the wrong idea will be generated.....If I had written I thought you were one of the most aware posters on this board, others might have pounced on you and accused me of gushing. I admire Frank Apisa's posts and once when I gave him a board compliment another poster ridiculed him. It didn't matter what they said about me but I certainly did not want to embarrass him. Understand?!

Needless to say I respect your posts because I sense in you a kindred spirit regarding certain issues. I respect your mind.

Your problem is that the right ideas had been taken from your words not the wrong ideas.

Saying that you would wish to see an innocent man, by jury verdict, killed/assassinated is way beyond the pale and placed you in the same camp as the new black panther party in connection to Zimmerman and the hit contract issue by Ayatollah Ruhollah against Salman Rushdie.

One man under threats of murder for daring to defend himself and the other for writing a book.

On the contrary, too much sameness and the world would be a very boring place indeed. I like interesting, spirited discussions....what I distinctly abhor are those posters with a chip on their shoulder, an inner rage, making me a target because they dislike my progressive dialogue. If a poster is civil with views diametrically opposed to mine I will still engage him. It's when I find a poster who is cynical, narrow-minded, bigoted, narcissistic that I keep my distance. Also, it is posters I feel I have nothing in common with whom I avoid.

Bill...what about the people who see Zimmerman as a threat. Shouldn't they be allowed to "stand their ground" so to speak...and rid the planet of this perceived threat.

Surely you agree to that...because you are a big advocate of stand your ground...and the right of people to protect themselves from perceived danger and attack.

Right?
