I am on the Moveon.org mailing list and received an email stating among other things that bush has frozen student aid money.
Perhaps I haven't been paying attention but I haven't heard about this.
Help a Bear out.
crap - you could not have posted this 2 hours earlier as I was talking to them?
I'm hazy on the details, but I seem to remember the foreign student aid money was cut back until background checks on all students--particularly those from discontented countries--could be perfected.
