Do you disagree that Creationism = subjectivity = objectivity?

Creationim is objective. Unfortunately for creationists, though, it's objectively false.

The negativity, as you call, is a product of Spade's complete history at this site. Even were there not that long history of hostility on his part toward anyone who questions his claims, anyone who claims that they have a god-given gift of prophecy is subject to severe questioning.

You can't see me, you can't hear me, you can't see my posture nor my facial expressions. Attempting to claim that you detect emotion is ludicrous. Your judgment of my "credibility" is certainly meaningless to me. Snide remarks about "emotional overdrive" and feeling sorry for me is simply a very adolescent trick to signal your "maturity" and therefore superiority.

It ain't workin' out for ya, Bubba.

@Setanta,
Definitely not your sense of humour, not while you can still type 'sammich.' There's nothing wrong with your senses of proportion and balance either. Mary Hopkins is testament to your sublime taste in music, and nobody could accuse you of having a monstrous ego with an overinflated sense of self importance.

What is Olivier going on about?

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
Hi Spades... Do you think "believing" is enough to convince others?

I see so many people "believe" and they contribute 10% or more of their income seemingly in belief. Yet where they contribute to, builds massive churches for more to come and contribute and then, they start owning other properties, businesses... Making money.

I do not think belief is the right word. Knowing... perhaps... As an individual person who knows...

You know I hate Churches, yet the people attend "believe" .. Such crap, egos, pedophiles all sorts hide behind this "belief"..

Only last night my "husband to be" who has seen some real "esp" happen with me, questioned what my cat does, (ours) looking up above my head darting around across the ceiling... I thought ' maybe' Missy, my darling 17 year old wouldn't that be wicked? She passed in my arms New Years Eve after my other pet, day after Christmas you can imagine, 2 at once... In any event, he came up with what if he hears rats on the roof?

What if?

In our hearts we know what we know...And I am one that says, in order to succeed you must believe.

But where do you put the word believe ? When you talk about something like this, God, Jesus, Universe, with all the negativity and man made?

I don't believe. I feel, know.. About things in my life... What ever that is, I believe in putting it out there and waiting because I am heck bent on it happening and so I believe and usually it happens.

But in this instance, God. I think it works off of experiences .. What you have seen, been through, felt, that you can not explain. Does not mean there is not an explanation only you have not found it.

Having said that. I definitely "feel" there is something more out there, due to what I have experienced in my own life that apparently not even my Christian Fiance has ever experienced.. Yet Christian means a "belief" in God.

See how man makes words up? BELIEF.

That also is man made.

It's what you know pertaining to you personally that others have not experienced the same ...

It's about thoughts that can never be proven.

And, it's about a feeling, strong that is within you....

Were you looking in the mirror when you typed that? You ought to have been. I don't think anyone here is important--not me, not you and not Olivier. As for a sense of proportion, where's yours when you consistently get hysterical and accuse others (not just me) of attitudes and beliefs they have never expressed? I suggest that you are the one with an ego problem.

The Mary Hopkins **** is, of course, an utter lie. But it's amusing and gratifying to me that you still have a bug up your ass about sammich. Have a nice day, Bubba.

By the way, it will no doubt gratify you to know that sammich is appearing online and in real life. I've seen it now twice at Facebook, and one of our members here who is on my friends list at Facebook recently sent me an example, which i append for your delectation.

What's that odd noise? It must be wailing and the gnashing of teeth.

Nope, I was looking at the computer screen, the mirror's in the other room, it would be logistically impossible. If you spent a little less time preening you might pick up on things more.

I always enjoy reading your calm, phlegmatic responses which are nothing remotely like the 'No I'm not, you are,' responses of some of the less imaginative posters.

I'm disappointed--there were no extravagant lies about what you allege i believe and have written in that post. You're slipping.

@Setanta,
Well I'm always humbled when dealing with such a razor sharp mind. Thank you for posting that wonderfully comic menu. With such an elevated sense of bathos and irony I'm amazed you can stop giggling long enough to post anything.

You are the wind beneath my wings, you heroic old curmudgeon.

You'd be nowhere without your lies. I have never claimed to be heroic or important in any way, other than perhaps from the point of view of the small dog. The irony of you accusing anyone else of an inflated sense of self-importance is truly hilarious.

I've never made any such claim, so you needn't congratulate your self for your petty sneer. Is this really that important to you? You really have nothing better to do? I'll be finished with the things which brought me online soon, and won't be back for quite a while, or not at all today. I guess you'll have to maunder about your petty hatreds and resentments without me. Have a wonderful day, Bubba.

@neologist,
Lets ask, "without Saul of Tarsus would Jesus the Christ exist"?
That seems to be where historians are spending their coffee money
